Hi, I am a retired prison officer, who has come back to archery about 4 years ago, after around a 28 year lay off. I mainly shoot compound, having a Bowtech Tribute & a Bowtech Guardian. I also have an English longbow and a Hungarian horseback bow.

I use the Tribute for field, which is my main interest, the Guardian is for target but I only shoot a couple of York rounds and a Hereford in a year, plus our club winter indoor series.

Been a Yorkshire man, unfortunately I do tend to speak my mind, sometimes before putting my brain in gear. This has in the past got me into some strife with other forums. Not intentionally, but I will not be dictated to or pander to political correctness. I say what I think, but please it is only my opinions, I am not trying to insult or demeen anyone. So please should I make comment on something take it with a pinch of salt and in the manner it is meant!
